A swirl of sweet cranberry with a touch of tang, fills the center of this lightly almond flavored cake.
When making the cranberry filling, you may wonder if something is missing in the directions and ask "where the heck is the water?" Answer...there is none. Just be patient and stick with it, keeping the heat low and stirring constantly. It takes awhile for the sugar to melt and the cranberries to soften a bit, but it is worth the time you will put into making it!
